Born in Lakewood, Ohio, U.S.A in 2001, Aidan Meany is an artist, recording musician, producer, and fashion designer. He currently is a student at Syracuse University College of Visual Performing Arts School of Design, completing a Bachelors degree in Industrial and Interaction Design.
For three years he learned the in’s and out’s of sewing, tailoring, garment-making, and pattern-making while creating under the teachings of Cleveland fashion designer, Megan Englemann. Aidan also spent some time working at A. Graphic Solution. Learning about screen-printing methods and design consultation heavily contributed to the techniques used in the ideation of products for AIDAN MEANY.
In the summer of 2016, Aidan Meany founded his fashion company MEANY SEASON which also operates known as AIDAN MEANY. In addition to conducting annual releases of new clothing collections, he released his first musical project, Camden, in the summer of 2018. In the same year, he began to create 2-Dimensional mono-printed artwork. These works received national award recognition. Aidan then released his second recording project, an EP entitled: Happy Rap, in May 2019. Following this musical release, he continued to produce with his fourth clothing collection and fashion show, entitled “Business Attire.” Held at Ingenuity Cleveland, this season questioned the validity of particular ideas regarding formality in fashion.
